Big Sur Tunnelblick Tour

Feb 22, 2021 Installing Kexts on an Intel Mac running macOS Big Sur On an Intel Mac, the process of installing Tunnelblick's system extensions requires one restart of your computer. Use the button on the 'Utilities' panel to install Tunnelblick's Tun and Tap system extensions. I've recently installed the Big Sur beta, and similar to that of Catalina, I get an insecure /tmp folder issue on Tunnelblick's startup check. Everything else still does work. To reproduce, launch Tunnelblick under the Beta of macOS Big Sur. The expected behavior was to launch Tunnelblick as expected. Here is a screenshot of the error. Client side I am using Tunnelblick 3.8.5beta01 (build 5610) (or Viscosity which imports settings from Tunnelblick) Here is my.conf (which works from Big Sur), maybe that could be helpful Replace the 'nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn' with router IP and 'mmmm' with portnumber of the TUN.

Edit the OpenVPN (or Tunnelblick) config file. Add the following commands: route-nopull route IP address of the website 255.255.255.255; Save changes. Restart the OpenVPN connection. To remove the split tunnel, delete the two rows, and restart the OpenVPN connection. How to test split tunneling on Mac.
